Building a Stronger Wyoming Through:

  • Wyoming agriculture is more than an industry — it is a way of life. Having grown up as a rancher, Jim understands the challenges facing Wyoming producers and the importance of protecting grazing rights, water access, and private property rights. He supports multiple use of public lands and policies that allow Wyoming agriculture to continue thriving for future generations.

  • Wyoming has the opportunity to lead the nation in responsible energy production, innovation and domination. Jim supports an all-of-the-above energy strategy that strengthens Wyoming’s economy, creates jobs, and keeps energy development accountable to local communities, landowners, and Wyoming values.

  • Wyoming’s wide open spaces, recreation, and natural beauty are central to our economy and way of life. Jim supports promoting Converse County and Wyoming tourism while protecting public access, outdoor recreation opportunities, and the long-term sustainability of Wyoming’s lands and communities. He was a strong advocate for the recent expansion of Natural Bridge Park, a gem of Converse County.

  • Jim believes local communities and school boards know what is best for their students. He supports strong public education, local control, workforce development, and expanding opportunities that help Wyoming students succeed while keeping talent and opportunity here at home. Jim was a key proponent of the EWC expansion to provide construction trades education.

  • Reliable roads and infrastructure are critical to Wyoming’s future. Jim has spent years working on transportation issues at both the state and national level and believes Wyoming must continue investing in roads, bridges, and infrastructure that keep communities connected and commerce moving.

  • Jim is a strong supporter of the Second Amendment and Wyoming’s tradition of responsible gun ownership. He supports the rights of law-abiding citizens to defend themselves, their families, and their property.

  • Wyoming citizens deserve secure, transparent, and trustworthy elections. Jim supports maintaining Wyoming’s strong election integrity standards and ensuring voters can continue to have confidence in the election process.
